The six-year medical program at UMCH in Hamburg leads to a university degree in Human Medicine which is Bolognia compliant and will qualify graduates to obtain a license to practice medicine throughout the European Union and in many other countries worldwide. During your studies, you will earn a total of 360 ECTS points. ECTS is the European Credit System used at universities all over Europe. After graduation, you can apply for a doctoral position at any German university or apply for a four-year doctoral program at UMCH to achieve an international degree as a Dr. or Ph.D.
